On a late night in the spring of 1827 the city of Vienna is experiencing the largest lightning storm in its long history. Within a large disheveled room, Ludwig Von Beethoven is slumped over his piano; on the piano sits the just completed manuscript for his Tenth Symphony.

It is his final (and he is certain), his greatest work. As the clock strikes midnight, the Devil appears to collect the great composer's soul. Looking into the abyss of eternity Beethoven is horrified but the demon has an offer - and so the bargaining begins.

The Trans Siberian Orchestra Come welcomes you to join Beethoven on his last night on earth - and to see how the story unfolds.

Crowd Expectation

As far as talent is concerned...10 on a scale of 10...NO DOUBT! These people are GREAT! However they may need to learn a little Humility, there were several request for the audience to respond to what they were doing on stage...well, the crowd at Sprint was very sophisticated...I mean they were not just going to give up free responses, the band has to earn it..and Frankly at times they were not earning it. And that "satanic" song that people are complaining about is Il Fortuna, one of the best known operatic works in the world. You can find it on their third album (reinforcing the idea that these people never even listened to the band. Was the pacing perfect? Not quite, but otherwise it was so much fun that my mouth hurt from smiling so much. ... Read more
