This stage musical, adapted from the 1900 book, and subsequent, beloved 1939 movie, the most famous ever made, has all the charming songs, with a story that can't fail to lift the spirits every time.
What's The Wizard Of Oz About?
Whilst living on a farm in Kansas with Aunt Em and Uncle Henry, Dorothy and her trusty dog Toto are swept up by a huge tornado that lands them into the technicolor land of Oz, into the magical Munchkinland, ruled by the beautiful Glinda the Good Witch. Wanting nothing more than to go home, Glinda bestows Dorothy with some spectacular ruby red slippers and sends her on her way to explore the wonderful world of Oz! With all your favorites, including Tin-Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion and the green Wicked Witch of the West and her Flying Monkey minions along with all the classic songs!

Enjoyed the night out with the family
A gorgeous night with perfect weather outside for the Starlight helped make this a very enjoyable evening out with the family. The new songs were great but not
as good as hearing the originals. Danielle Wade was perfect in the role of Dorothy with a beautiful voice and tone. Scarecrow was hamming it up and very funny
and Tin man seemed to be channeling the movie but Lion was a bit of a dud compared to the movie. Costumes, lighting and set were all excellent and I loved the
projection effects. Sound was a bit off with some lines being soft to rock concert loud at points and OZ had way too much echo effect it was difficult to understand
him. My wife and I agreed the casting for Auntie Em was not a good choice but the rest of the cast were very good and entertaining. It was a bit too long as the
ending seemed padded and the kids lost interest but the rest of the show the kids seemed enthralled. We left that night feeling happy we had seen the show and

I do not have a great experience in live performances, only can say that after 10 min the play started I was transported to the story, I was absolutely
surprised about the songs and the different twist to original story. Went with my 6 years old , who has ADD and he was engaged the whole time, we
