Roger Waters

Roger Waters at T-Mobile Center

Why see Roger Waters?

this is not a drill

Following his spectacular, world-conquering The Wall Tour and 2017's controversial Us + Them tour, the iconic Roger Waters returns to the road in 2020 with a brand new trek; Roger Waters: This Is Not A Drill (also dubbed his First Farewell Tour). Talking about the show with Rolling Stone in 2019, Waters promised "It'll be a new show. It will be no-holds-barred, it will be even more political than Us + Them was political and humane." You have been warned.

A key creative force behind Pink Floyd, alongside Syd Barrett and then David Gilmour, Waters stands as one of the 20th century's most influential songwriters. On albums like Meddle, Dark Side of the Moon and Animals, Pink Floyd redrew the boundaries of rock music, and their many iconic tracks include 'Comfortably Numb', 'Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)', and 'Money'.

Fantastic Show

Floyd fans - Waters fans - even Gilmour fans loved this show. Incredible sound and stage - flying pigs and sheep. A blast from the past and glimpse of possible future. If you can't seperate the art from the artist then its your loss. ... Read more

Amazing!, full stop.

I see a lot of low stars because of his politics. ...just what did you expect here? A lil butt hurt cause you saw your presidents titled as war criminals? ....the truth hurts. Blind and bigoted Americans is all i see in the reviews. Stage was spectacular to see. The music was flawless. the show was a heartfelt emotional ride from start to finish. Bravo, Roger, bravo! ... Spectacular multimedia show!

Seeing this show in person is critical; no YouTube video can convey the intensity of the sound or visuals which are both state-of-the art. You could literally feel the seats vibrating at the beginning. The volume was what it needed to be to discourage the non-fans from chatting while the show was in progress. I was never a huge fan of “another brick” but this performance gave me goosebumps. Again, the visuals throughout were spectacular. If you don’t want to see the visuals, as they are imbued with the injustice we face, close your eyes and listen to the music. It was impeccably played. I better understand and appreciate the heart of Roger Waters. ... Read more
